Se rinde homenaje y tributo de despedida como fundador del Sistema Nacional de Salud, de reconocidos méritos  profesionales, docentes e investigativos, quien dedicara más de 40 años de su vida a la Educación Médica, en el diseño y perfeccionamiento de planes de estudios para las carreras de Medicina, Estomatología, Enfermería y Tecnología de la Salud. 

Por sus méritos y cualidades éticas, humanas y revolucionarias siempre sera ejemplo y motivo de recordación por las generaciones de profesionales, técnicos  y trabajadores de la salud.
