Ética de la información, los nuevos problemas de la ética. Un reto para el profesional de la información del siglo XXI
Abstract
Introducción: Se define ética desde sus raíces lingüísticas y la evolución de este concepto en diferentes contextos.
Objetivo: Reflexionar acerca de algunos de los problemas éticos asociados al uso de las tecnologías de la información y las comunicaciones en el ámbito de las bibliotecas y de la actividad informativo documental.
Materiales y Métodos: Análisis documental clásico. Se consultaron fuentes documentales impresas y se hizo una búsqueda sobre los temas en Internet. La bibliografía citada se organizó según el estilo Vancouver.
Resultados: Se habla sobre los conceptos de ética, ética profesional y ética de la información. Se caracteriza brevemente al bibliotecario tradicional y la ética que caracterizaba la profesión. Se reflexiona sobre algunos de los problemas éticos de la información, emanados del uso de las nuevas tecnologías de la información y la comunicación.
Conclusiones: Se reflexiona acerca de la actitud que debe asumir los profesionales de las ciencias de la información ante estos dilemas éticosDownloads
