Se realiza un recuento histórico sobre la fundación y desarrollo de la medicina rural y social en Cuba, así como se suscriben los avances estructurales, académicos, científicos y tecnológicos en el Programa especial de San Blás en el macizo de Guamuaya, provincia de Cienfuegos, Cuba.
