Abstract

Entre las limitaciones de  las investigaciones en políticas y sistemas  de salud está el logro de la integración entre investigadores y decisores que esta requiere. Se describe un ejemplo, para directivos e investigadores, de trabajo conjunto de estos actores en el desarrollo de este campo de investigación por los profesionales de enfermería en Cuba. Se analizan las acciones realizadas desde ambas perspectivas para el alcance de un objetivo común. Se evidenció que la aplicación del método científico acompañado por la definición de acciones en el ámbito de la toma de decisiones, constituye una vía efectiva para el desarrollo de este tipo de estudio por parte de estos profesionales. La integración, que partió de la comunidad de objetivos entre políticos y científicos, garantizó el seguimiento y la sostenibilidad de las acciones realizadas.
