La Revista Infodir al conocer el deceso de la Dra.Cs Norma Eneida Ríos Massabot, con profundo dolor se une al pesar de todos los profesionales, técnicos y trabajadores de la salud por tan sensible pérdida. Ella fue catalogada por muchos como la madre de las Estadísticas de Salud en Cuba. Se incorporó al Sistema de Salud cubano desde su fundación y fue profesora, especialista y directora de los Registros Médicos y Estadísticas Sanitarias del Ministerio de Salud Pública y trasmitió a todos sus conocimientos y sabiduría haciendo gala de gran modestia y sencillez. Como dijera Martí: “… la muerte no es verdad, cuando se ha cumplido bien la obra de la vida…” Así lo hizo y así se recordará siempre, sencilla, sabia, trabajadora, modesta, colaborativa, sagaz, activa.
Descanse en paz, siempre estarán su ejemplo y enseñanzas en aras del mejoramiento continuo de los indicadores de la salud pública cubana.
ABSTRACT
The Infodir journal after learning about the demise of Dr. Cs Norma Eneida Ríos Massabot with deep sorrow joins the regret of all professionals, technicians and health workers for such a sensitive loss.
Dr. Cs Norma Eneida Ríos Massabot was known as the pioneer of Cuban Health Statistics. She joined the Cuban Health System since its foundation and was a professor, specialist and director of the Medical Records and Health Statistics of the Ministry of Public Health and transmitted all her knowledge and wisdom showing great modesty and simplicity. As Martí said: "... death is not true, when the work of life has been well fulfilled ..." She will always be remembered as simple, wise, hard-working, modest, collaborative, active person.
Rest in peace; your example and teachings will always be there in the interest of the continuous improvement of the Cuban public health indicators
