Se presenta las palabras del Ministro de Salud Pública de Cuba, Dr. José Angel Portal Miranda, en el acto de recibimiento del primer grupo de colaboradores de la Brigada Médica Cubana en Bolivia que regresan a la Patria. Recordó al Comandante en Jefe Fidel Castro Ruz, cuando dijo: “Nosotros continuaremos defendiendo las ideas por las que hemos luchado toda la vida, junto a los pobres, los enfermos sin médicos ni medicinas, los padres sin empleo, los cientos de millones de niños y niñas abandonados a su suerte (…), los hambrientos, los oprimidos y los explotados de toda la Tierra que constituyen la inmensa mayoría de la humanidad”.
