Fue celebrado el acto central por el Día de la Medicina Latinoamericana en el Instituto Nacional de Oncología y Radiobilogía, escenario en el que Ulises Guilarte de Nacimiento, Secretario General de la Central de Trabajadores de Cuba y el Dr. Roberto Morales Ojeda, Ministro de Salud Pública impusieron la distinción “Manuel Fajardo Rivero” a 10 trabajadores del centro con más de 20 años de labor en el sector y una trayectoria destacada.

El Sindicato Nacional de Trabajadores de la Salud realizó, en el Hospital Materno Infantil “Ramón González Coro”, su actividad central por el Aniversario 76 de la CTC y el 162 del natalicio de José Martí, escenario en el que fueron reconocidos 8 trabajadores con la Distinción “Manuel Fajardo Rivero” y una trabajadora con 40 años de labor como dirigente sindical de base.
