Organisational climate management: an urgent need in healthcare institutions
Keywords:
organisational climate, human resources, processesAbstract
Introduction: Organisational climate is an essential tool in the management of health institutions. Its study makes it possible to reduce the uncertainty that both workers and managers feel in their daily work and to take action to improve health indicators and the performance of workers in their service environment.
Objective: To generalise the relevance of the study of the organisational climate as an urgent need for management in health institutions.
Author's position: Organisational climate management in health institutions cannot be postponed. The studies carried out in this regard have remained diagnoses and the suggested changes in organisational structures, which are almost always the main obstacle in the functioning of institutions, have not been implemented.
Conclusions: The application of organisational climate studies produces better management of leaders, greater motivation and performance of workers, which results in better patient care and greater efficiency in quality indicators in accordance with the policies drawn up by the Ministry of Public Health.
