Introduction: Community projects are considered a dynamic methodology in the training processes of students in the different stages of their professional and personal development.
Objective: To characterize the Community Project Health for All.
Methods: A cross-sectional descriptive observational study was conducted at the Dr. Carlos J. Finlay University of Medical Sciences in the Cuban province of Camagüey, from March 2007 to March 2022. The universe and sample were represented by the 299 members of the project. The variables analyzed included project structure, members, types of activities and intervention strategy.
Results: The project, from its inception, was organized into six subprojects, each with a promoter in charge of coordinating the activities in the specific thematic area. The intervention strategy was divided into educational, communication and information, and health promotion activities were carried out at different levels (60.5 %), elaboration of written, graphic and audiovisual messages (2.8 %), as well as meetings and offices with project members (1.8 %).
Conclusions: It is concluded that the characterization of the project structure by themes allowed the achievement of its goals. Likewise, the assignment of functions, such as that of the main coordinator, made it possible to carry out various institutional and community activities through the different strategies.
