Natural and traditional medicine in Cuba achievements and challenges

The adequate use of natural and traditional medicine (NTM) can achieve a profound transformation of health with less danger, derived from the side effects inherent to pharmacological medicines. The Pan American Health Organization (PAHO) and WHO are an integral part of the movement to recognize the value of T & CMworldwide. Cuba has fully integrated T & CM medicines and services in its teaching and clinical practice to its health system.
