The experiences and results with the development of training in the Pharmaco-epidemiology network in the virtual modality are presented. The objective of the work is to show the experiences of learning in the virtual modality in the activity of pharmaco-epidemiology in Cuba. Three forms of professional improvement in the virtual modality were developed with some success, representing 8 activities between the years 2005 and 2013. Among the main difficulties for its continuation, it is pointed out that the necessary technology is not available and there is not enough knowledge to use it; the Ministry of Public Health of Cuba should analyze these difficulties, and if they are objective, they should be overcome to achieve the virtual modality in postgraduate training.Downloads
