Introduction: The National School of Public Health, as a branch school, was deemed suitable to offer the Public Administration diploma program, which is conducted in accordance with the policies of the Communist Party of Cuba, the State, and the government. From February 2012 to November 2024, 27 editions of this diploma program were held, graduating 568 managers, 31 of whom graduated in the last two editions. Objective: To describe the characteristics of the students and their perception of the results of the Public Administration Diploma program offered at the National School of Public Health in 2024. Methods: A descriptive and retrospective study was conducted. The study population consisted of 31 managers who completed both editions of the Public Administration Diploma program at the institution in 2024. Results: The majority of students were female, aged between 41 and 50 years, and worked at the Ministry of Public Health. They had been in their positions for between one and five years, and the highest percentage were management-level employees who perceived themselves as better prepared to perform their duties. Conclusions: The majority of participants were women under 50 years of age who held management-level positions and expressed satisfaction with the knowledge acquired, which they found useful for their daily work. Consequently, they perceived themselves as better prepared to perform the functions of control, planning, and execution of assigned tasks.
